Caroline Bergner is ASHA's Director of Health Care Policy for Medicaid. She serves ASHA’s membership by tracking and analyzing Medicaid policies, and advocating for coverage of audiology and speech-language pathology services with Medicaid state agencies, Medicaid managed care organizations, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the U.S. Congress, and state legislatures. Caroline has worked in government relations for many professional trade associations as a Virginia-licensed attorney. She is a proud alumna of Duke University and Ave Maria School of Law.

Sarah Warren, MA

Sarah Warren, MA, is the Director of Health Care Policy for Medicare at ASHA. In this role, she supports ASHA's membership by responding to member inquiries, anticipating Medicare payment policy trends, advocating with Congressional leaders, and commenting on Medicare's proposed policies. She has worked on health care payment policy for more 20 years. Prior to joining ASHA, Warren represented inpatient rehabilitation facilities at the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA) and physical therapists at the American Physical Therapy Association.

This course is designed with a participation requirement that ensures meaningful engagement and learning. Participants must be present for the entire 60-minute webinar to receive the assessment.
